Daughter Shraddha Kapoor spoke about Shakti Kapoor's struggle

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is in the headlines these days because of her films. Currently, the actress is enjoying the success of her film Stree 2. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor reflected on her success. Along with this, she told how her father's journey from Delhi to the silver screen has inspired her.

'My parents have seen me go through ups and downs'- Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor said in her recent interview, "I will be very honest. I still live with my parents and my pets and for me, it is a blast. My whole journey in the film industry has been a wonderful time. I feel I am very blessed. My parents have seen me go through ups and downs, but I believe failure is the most important for success. Failure is a great teacher. I am blessed to have a great support system. I am grateful for where I am because many people are waiting to live a celluloid life".

Shraddha Kapoor remembers her father's struggling days

Shraddha Kapoor further added, "My father is from a non-filmy family. His stories are so unbelievable. He came from Delhi. My grandfather had a textile shop and he told my father, 'You work in Delhi and do whatever you want'. My father had joined a travel agency, but he wanted to act. He boarded a train and came to Bombay. Those stories forced me to keep my head down because my father did it all from scratch and on his own. I think if your closest people are with you, you are fine throughout your journey." 

'I am earning more today than I was 14 years ago'- Shraddha 

Not only this, Shraddha Kapoor said that the industry has changed a lot since her debut. Talking about this, she said, "I am earning more today than I did 14 years ago. But, there is a uniform salary, which I think is changing". Talking about the increasing remuneration of stars, she said, "Whatever is going to work positively in the production of a film, the way it should be made, those decisions have to be taken by the makers. This is their vision. I think some people have a long-term vision and know in which direction the industry is going. There is no uniform way that everyone is following".

Let us tell you that Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 has created cinematic history by becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film in India, surpassing the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawaan. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor, Stree 2 also stars Rajkumar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, along with Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar also doing cameos.
